Ericsson MIBs

Ericsson's MIB set in this database is dominated by the Redback Networks heritage: dozens of ERICSSON-ROUTER-* and RBN-* modules for the SmartEdge/SM/SSR BRAS/router platform, covering L2VPN/VPLS circuits, VRRP, multi-chassis LAG, SFP inventory, and configuration-file management, alongside a long run of AGENT-CAPABILITIES modules that simply declare which IETF MIBs (Entity, MAU, AgentX, RADIUS, Traceroute) that platform's agent supports rather than exposing data themselves. Beyond the router line, a smaller number of modules cover distinct Ericsson product families: the AXD 301 ATM switch, ELN Ethernet access nodes, the IP DSLAM broadband access chassis, and MINI-LINK microwave radio signal-level monitoring. Most of the router-side modules recur around interface/VPN service state, protocol-conformance declarations, and system resource utilization rather than raw hardware sensors. If you're managing a SmartEdge/SM/SSR router or BRAS, this is the place to find the vendor-specific L2VPN, LAG, and interface-capability MIBs alongside the standard ones; for other Ericsson gear (MINI-LINK, ELN, DSLAM), expect a handful of standalone modules instead. Because the ERICSSON-ROUTER-*-CAP modules are conformance statements rather than monitoring data, don't expect them to return pollable metrics -- look to the underlying IETF or ERICSSON-ROUTER-* MIB they reference instead.
