What Is RBN-CIRCUIT-GROUP-CAP?
RBN-CIRCUIT-GROUP-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module documenting Ericsson SmartEdge (Redback) SNMP agent support for the circuit group management MIB, which models logical groupings of subscriber circuits (e.g., DSL/ATM circuits) on SmartEdge broadband remote access server (BRAS) platforms. As a capabilities module it carries no runtime objects itself, only a declaration of which groups/objects of the underlying circuit-group MIB are implemented for a given SEOS release. Consequently it has no direct role in exposing uptime, CPU, temperature, or fault counters; its purpose is purely to tell a management system what circuit-group-related data can be polled. It is a conformance statement layered over the separate circuit group management MIB (its embedded description text also references QoS-counter conformance, suggesting shared documentation with RBN-QOS-MIB). It is deployed as part of the SNMP agent on Ericsson SmartEdge/SSR BRAS platforms wherever circuit-group-based subscriber management is used.
