What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-SFP-CAP?
This AGENT-CAPABILITIES module declares which parts of Ericsson's proprietary SFP transceiver inventory MIB (ERICSSON-ROUTER-SFP-MIB) are implemented on SmartEdge/SM/SSR platforms. It has no managed objects itself, only capability statements mapping the SFP-MIB's alarm and inventory groups to supported SEOS releases. It carries no direct hardware health data itself, but indicates which SFP alarm and transceiver inventory objects an operator can expect to poll. It is entirely dependent on the companion ERICSSON-ROUTER-SFP-MIB it profiles. It is used for capability discovery by NMS tooling managing Ericsson router optical transceivers. Network engineers evaluating or troubleshooting this functionality can download the ERICSSON-ROUTER-SFP-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
