What Is RBN-IPPOOL-CAP?
RBN-IPPOOL-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module for Ericsson SmartEdge devices, describing which parts of the companion RBN-IPPOOL-MIB a given SEOS agent implementation actually supports. It does not define any runtime data objects itself; instead it declares supported groups/variations and, via PRODUCT-RELEASE, which Ericsson product family (SmartEdge MSER, SM Metro Ethernet platform, or SSR) and software release the capability statement applies to. As a conformance/compatibility document it has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software runtime status; its purpose is purely to tell management systems what a given agent version supports for IP address pool management. It is inherently dependent on and describes conformance to RBN-IPPOOL-MIB. It is used by NMS/MIB-compiler tooling during integration to determine feature support before deployment, not for live polling. Engineers can download the RBN-IPPOOL-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RBN-IPPOOL-CAP. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This is a conformance/AGENT-CAPABILITIES module with no runtime data objects; it only declares which object groups of RBN-IPPOOL-MIB are supported per Ericsson SEOS release and product family, so there is no realistic monitoring scenario to describe.
