This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module describing how Ericsson's SmartEdge/SEOS-based platforms implement the standard IETF OSPF-TRAP-MIB, rather than a data-bearing MIB in its own right. It documents which OSPF trap objects and variations the agent supports on Ericsson's SmartEdge Multi-service Edge Router (SE), SM Metro Ethernet Transport, and Smart Service Router (SSR) product families. As a capabilities statement it does not itself expose runtime counters; instead it clarifies the scope of OSPF fault/event notifications (such as interface state changes, neighbor state changes, and virtual interface events) that the underlying OSPF-TRAP-MIB will generate on these platforms. It is explicitly dependent on, and scoped to, the IETF OSPF-TRAP-MIB standard. It is used by network management systems to determine SNMP conformance/version compatibility with Ericsson SEOS routers before deploying OSPF trap monitoring. Engineers can download the RBN-IETF-OSPF-TRAP-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

This module has no runtime data objects of its own; it is a conformance declaration mapping SEOS agent behavior onto the standard OSPF-TRAP-MIB's trap definitions. A management system would consult it only to confirm which OSPF trap variations (e.g., neighbor down, interface state change) are supported on a given SmartEdge/SSR release before relying on those traps for alerting. No object or table polling occurs against this MIB itself.
