What Is RBN-CARDMON-CAP?
RBN-CARDMON-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module documenting which objects and features of the companion RBN-CARDMON-MIB (line/interface card monitoring) are implemented on a given Ericsson SmartEdge Multi-service Edge Router (MSER), Metro Ethernet (SM) or Smart Service Router (SSR) platform and SEOS software release. As an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module it defines no data-collection objects of its own; it is metadata describing implementation conformance rather than a live source of hardware status. The actual card/module hardware health (presence, status, temperature, etc.) would be exposed by the underlying RBN-CARDMON-MIB this module describes, not by this file. It depends entirely on that companion Card Monitor MIB and the standard AGENT-CAPABILITIES macro from SNMPv2-CONF. It is used by NMS/MIB-compiler tooling to validate SNMP support on Ericsson SmartEdge SE/SM/SSR platforms, not for live polling. Engineers can download the RBN-CARDMON-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RBN-CARDMON-CAP. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This is a conformance/AGENT-CAPABILITIES module with no runtime data objects, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe; it only records which OBJECT-GROUPs of RBN-CARDMON-MIB (the actual card-monitoring MIB) are supported on a given Ericsson SEOS release and product family.
