What Is MINI-LINK-MIB?
MINI-LINK-MIB is a vendor-specific top-level MIB from Ericsson that establishes the OID root for the Ericsson MINI-LINK family of microwave radio link products, placed under the ericsson enterprise subtree (enterprises.193.223). In its current form the module contains no object or table definitions of its own — it is purely a MODULE-IDENTITY placeholder that anchors the OID namespace under which the various MINI-LINK product-specific and functional MIBs (covering microwave link configuration, radio performance, and alarm status) are registered. As such it has no direct monitoring value by itself but is a required dependency for any tooling, MIB browser, or NMS that needs to resolve OIDs belonging to the broader MINI-LINK MIB tree. It is deployed alongside the fuller set of Ericsson MINI-LINK MIBs on microwave transport network elements used in mobile backhaul. Network engineers commonly need to download the MINI-LINK-MIB file first so their MIB browser can resolve the rest of the Ericsson MINI-LINK OID hierarchy.
