What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-IP-SECURITY-CAP?
This AGENT-CAPABILITIES module records which parts of the Ericsson Router IP Security MIB (covering IPsec tunnels and packet filters) are implemented on SmartEdge (MSER), SM, and SSR platforms. The underlying security MIB itself would expose configuration and status for IPsec associations and filter rules, relevant to monitoring the software-level security posture of the router. This capabilities module carries no operational data, only a declaration of supported feature groups. It is fully dependent on the ERICSSON-ROUTER-IP-SECURITY-MIB it describes. It supports NMS onboarding/compatibility checks in secure edge-routing deployments. Engineers can download the ERICSSON-ROUTER-IP-SECURITY-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ERICSSON-ROUTER-IP-SECURITY-CAP.
