What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-TC?
ERICSSON-ROUTER-TC is a vendor-specific Ericsson MIB module that defines the common textual conventions — shared data types and enumerations — used across the entire family of Ericsson Router MIB modules. Like other TC-only modules it does not define any object instances, tables, or notifications of its own, so it exposes no data categories such as interfaces or environment sensors directly. It therefore carries no hardware or software status information itself; any uptime, CPU, memory, or interface status monitoring happens in the Ericsson router MIB modules that import these type definitions. Its role is purely as a dependency: essentially every other ERICSSON-ROUTER-* MIB module depends on this TC module for consistent type representation. It is deployed alongside Ericsson router platforms as a supporting schema module, and engineers who download ERICSSON-ROUTER-TC as part of an Ericsson router MIB package will find it contains only type definitions, with no pollable objects of its own.
