What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-IETF-TRACEROUTE-CAP?
This AGENT-CAPABILITIES module states Ericsson's implementation coverage of the IETF DISMAN-TRACEROUTE-MIB (RFC 2925/4560) on SmartEdge/SM/SSR platforms, used for SNMP-driven traceroute diagnostics. It defines no managed objects itself, only capability clauses mapping DISMAN-TRACEROUTE-MIB groups to supported SEOS releases. It carries no direct hardware/software health data, but tells operators which traceroute control and results objects can be invoked remotely for network path diagnostics. It is entirely dependent on the IETF DISMAN-TRACEROUTE-MIB it profiles. It is consumed by NMS tools for capability discovery when scripting remote diagnostics against Ericsson routers. Engineers can download the ERICSSON-ROUTER-IETF-TRACEROUTE-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
