RBN-SYS-SECURITY-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module for Ericsson SmartEdge (formerly Redback) devices that documents implementation conformance for the companion RBN-SYS-SECURITY-MIB, which governs system security and access control. It contains no operational objects of its own, only statements about which groups and variations of the security MIB are supported by a given SEOS software release, along with applicable product families. Because it defines conformance rather than live data, it has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software status; its purpose is purely to inform management tools which security-related access-control features an agent implements. It exists solely to describe conformance to the separate RBN-SYS-SECURITY-MIB. It is used during MIB compilation and agent-capability validation for Ericsson SmartEdge MSER, SM, or SSR platforms rather than during operational monitoring. Engineers can download the RBN-SYS-SECURITY-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

As an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module, it defines no runtime data objects or tables, so there is no monitoring scenario to illustrate; its content is limited to conformance statements about which parts of RBN-SYS-SECURITY-MIB a SEOS release implements.
