What Is RBN-IETF-SNMPv3-USM-CAP?
RBN-IETF-SNMPv3-USM-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module stating which objects/groups of the standard SNMP-USER-BASED-SM-MIB (SNMPv3 User-based Security Model) are implemented on Ericsson SmartEdge SE/SM/SSR platforms for a given SEOS software release. As an AGENT-CAPABILITIES declaration it defines no security-user or key-management objects itself — SNMPv3 user table and authentication/privacy state come from the underlying USM MIB it describes. Its purpose is purely conformance metadata mapping supported groups of that security MIB to Ericsson product families and software versions, so it depends entirely on the standard SNMP-USER-BASED-SM-MIB and the AGENT-CAPABILITIES macro. It is used by NMS/MIB-compiler tooling validating SNMPv3 security support on Ericsson SmartEdge routers, not for live monitoring of SNMP users. Engineers can download the RBN-IETF-SNMPv3-USM-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This is a conformance/AGENT-CAPABILITIES module with no runtime data objects, so there is no monitoring scenario; it only records which groups of the standard SNMP-USER-BASED-SM-MIB are supported on a given Ericsson SEOS release and product family.
