What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-IETF-SNMP-TARGET-CAP?
ERICSSON-ROUTER-IETF-SNMP-TARGET-CAP is an Ericsson AGENT-CAPABILITIES module declaring which parts of the standard IETF SNMP-TARGET-MIB (RFC 3413, evolved from RFC 2573) are implemented on Ericsson's SmartEdge (SE), SM Metro Ethernet Service Transport, and Smart Service Router (SSR) platform families. Rather than exposing monitoring data itself, it documents supported groups/variations of the target-address and target-parameters configuration used for SNMP notification delivery (i.e., where and how the device sends traps/informs). It is therefore not a source of hardware or software runtime status but a conformance declaration that helps NMS tooling understand how a given Ericsson SEOS software version configures notification targets. It explicitly depends on the IETF SNMP-TARGET-MIB (and the SEOS platform capability framework) that it describes support for.
