What Is PEA-LINE-MIRRORING-IPDSLAM?

PEA-LINE-MIRRORING-IPDSLAM is an Ericsson Diax A/S - Denmark (IP DSLAM) proprietary MIB configuring end-user line traffic mirroring, replicating upstream/downstream subscriber-line traffic tagged with an operator-specified VLAN and sent out the DSLAM's uplink for lawful-intercept or diagnostic capture. Its line-mirroring table, keyed by line, records the upstream and downstream mirror VLAN ID and VLAN priority. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm which subscriber line is being mirrored and to which VLAN/priority the mirrored traffic is tagged. It is deployed on Ericsson Diax IP DSLAM platforms. Engineers can download the PEA-LINE-MIRRORING-IPDSLAM file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

The traffic is then forwarded on the uplink interface of the IP DSLAM. The value configured with upstreamLineMirrorVlanId will survive a restart of the IP DSLAM.
