What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-Q-BRIDGE-CAP?
This AGENT-CAPABILITIES module declares which parts of the standard Q-BRIDGE-MIB (RFC 4188, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN bridging) are implemented on Ericsson SmartEdge (MSER), SM, and SSR platforms. The Q-BRIDGE-MIB itself covers VLAN membership, bridge port state, and forwarding behavior, relevant to monitoring Layer 2 bridging health, but this capabilities module exposes no such data directly. It is a pure conformance layer over the IETF Q-BRIDGE-MIB standard. It supports NMS/MIB tooling verifying VLAN bridging feature coverage on a given Ericsson router release. Engineers can download the ERICSSON-ROUTER-Q-BRIDGE-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ERICSSON-ROUTER-Q-BRIDGE-CAP. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
