What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-SLA-CAP?
ERICSSON-ROUTER-SLA-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module documenting support for Ericsson's proprietary SLA measurement MIB (ERICSSON-ROUTER-SLA-MIB) on SmartEdge/SM/SSR router platforms for a given SEOS software release. It defines no measurement data itself, only which SLA-related object groups and compliance statements the agent implements. Indirectly it supports performance monitoring by telling an NMS whether SLA metrics such as delay, jitter, or loss measurements (defined in the referenced SLA MIB) are available to poll on that specific router/software version, which is important before relying on SLA reporting for service assurance. Its dependency is explicit -- on the underlying ERICSSON-ROUTER-SLA-MIB. It's consulted during monitoring-system onboarding when validating SLA-measurement support for Ericsson router deployments.
