What Is XF-TOP-MIB?
XF-TOP-MIB defines the top-level OID registration structure for Ericsson's MINI-LINK Traffic Node product family (the "XF" MIB series), a line of microwave radio transmission equipment used for point-to-point backhaul. As a top-level module it establishes only the highest-level OIDs under which the various functional MINI-LINK Traffic Node MIBs register their objects - it contains no operational data of its own. It therefore has no direct monitoring role; the actual hardware/software status data (radio-link quality, alarms, equipment inventory) is exposed by the specific XF-series MIBs that build on this registration tree. Engineers working with MINI-LINK Traffic Node equipment typically keep this XF-TOP-MIB reference on hand to understand where the family's functional MIBs anchor their OIDs.
