What Is RBN-IETF-UDP-CAP?
RBN-IETF-UDP-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module declaring Ericsson SmartEdge (Redback) SNMP agent support for the standard IETF UDP-MIB (RFC 4113), which exposes UDP endpoint and datagram statistics. As a capabilities module it defines no runtime objects itself, only which UDP-MIB groups/objects the agent implements for a given SEOS release. It has no direct role in reporting live UDP traffic or endpoint state -- that comes from UDP-MIB proper -- but it scopes what UDP visibility is available for management tools. It is explicitly a conformance layer over the standards-track UDP-MIB. It is deployed as part of the SNMP agent on Ericsson SmartEdge/SSR routers wherever standards-based UDP traffic monitoring is used, with the RBN-IETF-UDP-CAP MIB itself contributing no data objects beyond this capabilities declaration.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RBN-IETF-UDP-CAP. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module with no runtime data objects (sample_objects is empty); it declares UDP-MIB conformance rather than exposing UDP endpoint or datagram counters itself. There is no monitoring scenario to invent -- actual UDP traffic data would be polled from the standard UDP-MIB this module declares support for.
