What Is ERICSSON-SNF-ALARM-MIB?
ERICSSON-SNF-ALARM-MIB is an Ericsson proprietary MIB implementing alarm reporting per the SNF (a specific Ericsson Fault Management requirements document) team's specification, building on the standard ALARM-MIB and ITU-ALARM-MIB frameworks. Its two objects report an alarm's active state and clear state. As a hardware/software-status MIB it lets a management station determine whether a specific alarm condition is currently active or has been cleared, following Ericsson's standardized fault-management alarm model. It is deployed on Ericsson equipment implementing SNF-aligned fault management. Engineers can download the ERICSSON-SNF-ALARM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
