This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module that declares which parts of the companion Ethernet Ring Protection (ERP, ITU-T G.8032) MIB a specific Ericsson router agent implementation supports, rather than defining any monitoring data itself. It contains no runtime data objects, tables, or notifications; it exists solely to document implementation conformance for tooling and network management system compatibility checks. As such it has no direct role in monitoring ring protection switching events, hardware, or software status; that data would live in the actual ERP MIB it references. It is entirely dependent on the separate Ericsson ERP MIB (and implicitly on the G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection standard) for any real monitoring objects. It is used during MIB compliance verification for Ericsson routers deployed in Ethernet ring topologies rather than in live monitoring. Engineers can download the ERICSSON-ROUTER-ERP-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
