What Is ERICSSON-ROUTER-STACKEDVLAN-CAP?
ERICSSON-ROUTER-STACKEDVLAN-CAP is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module, not a data-bearing MIB, that documents which parts of the companion ERICSSON-ROUTER-STACKEDVLAN-MIB (covering 802.1ad QinQ stacked VLAN functionality) are actually implemented by the SNMP agent on a given Ericsson SmartEdge platform and SEOS software release. It exposes no monitorable runtime objects itself; instead it declares supported groups and variations for specific product families such as the SmartEdge Multi-service Edge Router (SE), Metro Ethernet Service Transport (SM), and Smart Service Router (SSR) families. As a capabilities statement it has no bearing on hardware/software status monitoring directly, though it governs which stacked-VLAN objects from the base MIB are safe to poll on a particular SEOS version. It is explicitly dependent on and describes conformance to the ERICSSON-ROUTER-STACKEDVLAN-MIB. It is used by network management tooling during MIB compilation/compatibility checks against Ericsson SmartEdge/SEOS router deployments, not for live monitoring. Engineers can download the ERICSSON-ROUTER-STACKEDVLAN-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
