What Is RBN-OPTICAL-TRANSCEIVER-CAP?
RBN-OPTICAL-TRANSCEIVER-CAP is an Ericsson AB (RedBack Networks/SmartEdge heritage) AGENT-CAPABILITIES MIB declaring device conformance to the MIB managing SFP/SFP+/XFP/CFP pluggable optical transceivers, applicable to the SmartEdge (MSER), SM Metro Ethernet, and Smart Service Router (SSR) product families. It carries no data objects of its own — as a conformance-declaration module it registers which groups of the referenced MIB a given Ericsson SEOS software release implements. As a software-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which capability groups apply to their specific Ericsson SEOS release. It is deployed on Ericsson AB (RedBack) SmartEdge/SM/SSR platforms. Engineers can download the RBN-OPTICAL-TRANSCEIVER-CAP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
