RADIUS Server

This is the largest AAA-related theme: RADIUS server addresses and address types, server-table management for adding or removing entries, round-trip authentication latency, and error counters like bad responses or retransmissions. Admins configure server entries for redundancy across primary and backup authentication servers, and use the latency and error counters to diagnose slow or failed user logins — a high retransmission count or round-trip time points at a RADIUS server or the network path to it, rather than the client's own configuration. Because RADIUS authentication and accounting share so many similarly-named objects, distinguishing an "accounting" server object from an "authentication" server object in the name matters when configuring redundancy.
