This is the master on/off switch for the entire 802.1X RADIUS accounting client on the device, separate from the per-server enable/disable controlled by each row's Status object. Setting this to disabled(1) stops the device from sending any Accounting-Request (start/interim/stop) records for 802.1X sessions at all, even if individual accounting server rows are still active(1), a common cause of an admin finding no accounting data despite servers appearing correctly configured. For example, an admin troubleshooting why a RADIUS accounting server shows zero session records for a switch would check this object first; if it reads disabled(1), no accounting traffic is being generated regardless of the server table configuration.
