Description: Number of minutes that any RADIUS server is ignored after it has failed. This MIB is used if the value of the field rlRadiusServerUseGlobalDefaultDeadtime is false.
What is rlRadiusGlobalDefaultDeadtime?
This read-write INTEGER (0-2000 minutes) sets the default period a failed RADIUS server is skipped entirely before being retried, used when the per-server deadtime override flag is false. Admins use this to prevent the switch from repeatedly trying a RADIUS server known to be down, speeding up authentication for other users. For example, an admin sets this object to 10 minutes so, after a server fails once, the switch stops wasting time on it for the next ten minutes across all servers using the global default.
