rlRadiusServerInetSource

Module: CISCOSB-AAA

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-AAA::rlRadiusServerInetSource

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.80.8.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: InetAddress

Access: read-write

Description: Inet address of the interface to use with this server. To provide backward compatibility the value of 0.0.0.0 for this object will be used to disables source address specification. Default value of 255.255.255.255 means that rlRadiusGlobalDefaultSource will be used for Ipv4 servers and rlRadiusIPv6GlobalDefaultSource will be used for Ipv6 servers.IPv6Z type not supported. Only valid IP address will be used. Application will set default value.

What is rlRadiusServerInetSource?

This read-write InetAddress sets the source interface address used when contacting this Inet-style RADIUS server; for backward compatibility 0.0.0.0 disables source address specification, while the default of 255.255.255.255 means the switch falls back to rlRadiusGlobalDefaultSource for IPv4 servers or rlRadiusGlobalIPv6DefaultSource for IPv6 servers, and IPv6Z addressing is not supported. Admins use this to pin a specific server's traffic to a particular local interface. For example, an admin sets this object to a dedicated management interface's IPv6 address so requests to that specific RADIUS server always originate from it rather than from the global default source.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-AAA::rlRadiusServerInetSource

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.80.8.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-AAA::rlRadiusServerInetSource.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.80.8.1.11.1 s <value>
