What is cienaCesRadiusDot1xAuthAccessChallenges?

This counts Access-Challenge responses from this RADIUS server, which are the multi-round-trip prompts used by EAP methods such as EAP-TLS or PEAP that require additional exchange before a final accept or reject. On an 802.1X deployment using a challenge-based EAP method, this counter should track roughly in step with Requests; a value that's unexpectedly low compared to Requests can indicate supplicants are falling back to a simpler, less secure EAP method than intended. For example, in a PEAP deployment this counter would normally show one challenge per authentication attempt, so if Requests shows 500 but this shows only 50, most clients may be negotiating an unintended EAP type.
