This is the primary is-accounting-actually-working counter for this server; an admin comparing its growth to the Requests counter can see what fraction of sent accounting records are actually being acknowledged versus timing out. For example, if Requests shows 1,000 and this counter shows only 600 over the same window, roughly 40% of accounting records sent to this server went unacknowledged, warranting a look at the Timeouts counter to confirm.
