What Is BSUWIRELESSIF-MIB?
BSUWIRELESSIF-MIB is an Alvarion module for the BreezeACCESS/PacketWave family of fixed-wireless base station units (BSUs), covering the radio air-interface configuration of each wireless port. It exposes per-port tables for basic wireless port status, RF channel configuration (frequency, band, width), QoS link settings, transmit power control, antenna configuration, and sector assignment. It is directly useful for BSUWIRELESSIF-MIB SNMP monitoring of both hardware and RF-configuration status: port state and reset objects reveal whether a radio port is up or has been administratively reset, while power-control and antenna tables expose settings that affect link budget and coverage, and channel objects confirm RF configuration matches the intended plan. It likely complements a corresponding subscriber-unit (SU) wireless interface MIB in the same Alvarion product suite, and possibly standard interface MIBs for base-level statistics, though this is not explicit in the source data. Monitoring Examples
aniBsuWirelessPortTable/Entry rows (keyed by aniBsuWirelessPort) expose aniBsuPortState and aniBsuPortMacAddr for each radio port, so an admin can detect a port that has gone down or is flagged via aniBsuPortFlag; aniBsuChannelTable reports aniBsuChannelFrequency, aniBsuFrequencyBand, and aniBsuChannelWidth per channel, useful for confirming RF configuration matches plan, while aniBsuPowerControlTable and aniBsuAntennaTable expose transmit power and antenna settings that affect link budget and coverage.
