Description: This is the time in seconds between re-transmissions to the RADIUS server.
What is cienaCesRadiusClientTimeout?
This controls how long the device waits for a response before retrying a RADIUS request on this base client. On a network with a slow or distant RADIUS server, too short a timeout causes needless retransmissions and, combined with the retry count, can noticeably delay a legitimate login, while too long a timeout means users wait longer to fail over when the server is genuinely down. For example, lowering this from 5 to 2 seconds on a local, low-latency RADIUS server speeds up failover to a backup server if the primary stops responding.
