Category: Hardware and Environment
Description: Monitors CyberPower Systems UPS devices including input/output power, battery status, and load percentage.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CPS-MIB?
CPS-MIB is a private MIB (enterprise OID 3808) for a UPS product, defining trap-notification configuration alongside standard UPS identification objects. Its objects cover a trap-accepter table (address, community string, severity, active flag) with a count, DHCP-enable flag, device IP address, clock date/time, generic trap-info fields (integer, IP address, string, gauge, time-ticks, event-ID) for building custom traps, restart/reset control actions, and standard UPS identification (model, name, firmware revision, manufacture date, serial number). As a configuration/notification MIB it lets an administrator confirm which management stations receive traps and at what minimum severity. It is deployed on this vendor's UPS product line. Engineers can download the CPS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CPS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- UPS product line (enterprise OID 3808)
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks mconfigTrapAccepterTable to confirm the correct management station and minimum severity are configured to receive UPS alert traps.
What Can Be Monitored
- trap-destination configuration and UPS identification
