Description: A threshold that indicates the power consumption of the load has entered an overload condition. It is represented in watts. A warning will be issued when the load is greater than or equal to the threshold value.
Minimum value must be greater than or equal to the value returned by the ePDUOutletConfigMonitoredNearOverloadThreshold OID.
Maximum value must be less than or equal to the value returned by the ePDULoadDevMaxOutletLoad OID.
0 will be returned if the unit is not Outlet Monitored Rack PDU.
What is ePDUOutletConfigMonitoredOverloadThreshold?
This read-write integer sets the overload threshold, in watts, at which a specific monitored outlet is considered overloaded, capped by the outlet's maximum rated load. Admins use this to define the actual danger point for the equipment on that particular outlet rather than relying solely on the outlet's factory maximum. Setting this to 440 watts on an outlet rated for a 450-watt maximum leaves a small safety margin before the outlet's true physical limit.
