Description: A threshold that indicates the power consumption of the load is nearing an overload condition. It is represented in Amps. A warning will be issued when the load is greater than or equal to the threshold value.
Minimum value must be greater than the value returned by the ePDULoadPhaseConfigLowLoadThreshold OID.
Maximum value must be less than or equal to the value returned by the ePDULoadPhaseConfigOverloadThreshold OID.
What is ePDULoadPhaseConfigNearOverloadThreshold?
This read-write integer sets the near-overload warning threshold, in amps, for one phase; a warning is issued once the phase's load reaches or exceeds this value, and it must sit between the phase's low-load threshold and its overload threshold. Admins use it as an early-warning trip wire so they can shed load or redistribute equipment before the phase actually overloads. Setting this to 25 amps on a phase whose overload threshold is 30 amps gives the admin a warning buffer to react before that phase actually trips.
