Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

What is eSwitchNumber?

This read-only integer reports how many power switches are currently attached to the management system. An admin polls it to know how many separate eSwitchID entries to expect when enumerating the switches under this controller's control. A jump from 2 to 3 after cabling in a new outlet strip confirms the controller has recognized the newly attached switch.
