Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::eSwitchOutletNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.2.2.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Description: The number of outlets provided in the switch.

What is eSwitchOutletNum?

This read-only integer reports how many controllable outlets a given power switch provides. An admin uses it to know the valid range of outlet numbers before sending on/off commands to eSwitchActOutlet, avoiding requests to non-existent outlets. A switch reporting 8 here tells the admin there are outlets 1 through 8 available to control on that unit.
