ePDU2DeviceConfigCurrentNearOverloadThreshold

Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::ePDU2DeviceConfigCurrentNearOverloadThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.6.3.2.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: User-defined near overload current threshold, measured in Amps.

What is ePDU2DeviceConfigCurrentNearOverloadThreshold?

This read-write integer, in Amps, sets the user-defined near-overload current threshold for a given Rack PDU. An admin sets it below the hard overload point to get advance warning while there's still time to shed load. For example, setting this to 28 Amps on a PDU rated for 30 gives a 2 Amp buffer before the unit is genuinely overloaded.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.6.3.2.1.9
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CPS-MIB::ePDU2DeviceConfigCurrentNearOverloadThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.6.3.2.1.9.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CPS-MIB::ePDU2DeviceConfigCurrentNearOverloadThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.6.3.2.1.9.1 i <value>
