What is bmProbesIndex?
This read-only integer, ranging from 1 to 960, is the index identifying a specific row in the battery manager's general probes table. It gives the admin the key needed to correlate a particular probe's pack, string, and battery association across the table. For example, an SNMP walk retrieving probe index 500 would then look up that same row's pack, string, and battery index values to identify exactly which physical probe it represents.
