Description: This variable returns the current communication status between the Automatic Transfer Switch and the Agent.
What is atsStatusCommStatus?
This read-only enumerated integer reports the communication status between the Automatic Transfer Switch and its management Agent: never discovered(1), communication established(2), or communication lost(3). Admins monitor this to know whether the SNMP data they're reading for this ATS is currently live and trustworthy, since a lost-comm state means all other ATS status OIDs may be stale. Seeing atsCommLost(3) after previously showing atsCommEstablished(2) tells the admin the agent has stopped talking to the ATS itself and any status data collected afterward should be treated as suspect.
