Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Description: Current connected probe number.

What is bmProbesNum?

This read-only integer reports how many probes are currently physically connected to the battery manager. An admin compares this live count against the configured probe count to detect a probe that has become disconnected or failed. For example, if bmConfigProbesCountOnString expects 24 probes per string but this value reports fewer connected, the admin knows one or more probes have dropped offline.
