Description: The trap receiver severity level. Traps are marked in severity level as informational(1), warning(2), severe(3). Only send the traps of equal or greater severity than this value to the receiver.
What is severityDegree?
This read-only enumerated value sets the severity threshold for a trap receiver as informational, warning, or severe, so only traps of equal or greater severity are sent to that receiver. It lets an admin filter which alerts reach which destinations, routing only critical events to a paging system while sending everything to a general log. For example, setting a receiver's threshold to severe(3) means only critical failures reach it, while informational and warning traps are suppressed for that destination.
