ePDULoadPhaseConfigLowLoadThreshold

Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::ePDULoadPhaseConfigLowLoadThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.3.2.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: A threshold that indicates the power consumption of the load is nearing a low consumption condition. It is represented in Amps. A warning will be issued when the load is less than the threshold value.

A threshold value of 0 Amps effectively disables this warning.

Maximum value must be less than the value returned by the ePDULoadPhaseConfigNearOverloadThreshold OID.

What is ePDULoadPhaseConfigLowLoadThreshold?

This read-write integer sets the low-load warning threshold, in amps, for one phase of the Rack PDU; a warning fires when the phase's load drops below this value, and setting it to 0 disables the warning. Admins configure it to detect a phase that has gone unexpectedly idle, which can indicate a failed circuit or unplugged equipment rather than genuinely low demand. Setting this to 2 amps on a phase normally carrying 10 amps would trigger a warning if that phase's load unexpectedly dropped to 1 amp, flagging a possible upstream failure.
