Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::ePDU2OutletMeteredInfoLayout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.6.6.2.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This OID describes the phase connections of the referenced outlet as follows: seqPhase1ToNeutral(1) indicates that the outlet is wired from Phase 1 to Neutral. seqPhase2ToNeutral(2) indicates that the outlet is wired from Phase 2 to Neutral. seqPhase3ToNeutral(3) indicates that the outlet is wired from Phase 3 to Neutral. seqPhase1ToPhase2(4) indicates that the outlet is wired from Phase 1 to Phase 2. seqPhase2ToPhase3(5) indicates that the outlet is wired from Phase 2 to Phase 3. seqPhase3ToPhase1(6) indicates that the outlet is wired from Phase 3 to Phase 1.

What is ePDU2OutletMeteredInfoLayout?

This read-only integer reports which electrical phase or phase pair the metered outlet is wired to, using coded values such as seqPhase1ToNeutral or seqPhase1ToPhase2. Knowing outlet phase wiring matters because it lets an admin balance load across phases in a three-phase PDU and diagnose phase-specific overload alarms. For example, seeing several high-draw outlets all report seqPhase2ToNeutral would tell an admin that Phase 2 is carrying a disproportionate share of the load.
