ePDU2OutletSwitchedConfigPowerOnTime

Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::ePDU2OutletSwitchedConfigPowerOnTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.6.6.1.2.1.5

Description: The amount of time (in seconds) the outlet will delay powering on at coldstart or when a command that requires a turn-on delay is issued.

Allowed values are: -1 - never power on. 0 - power on immediately. 1 to 7200 - power on up to 7200 seconds after being commanded.

What is ePDU2OutletSwitchedConfigPowerOnTime?

This read-write integer, in seconds, sets how long a given switched outlet on a chained Rack PDU delays powering on at coldstart or after a command requiring a turn-on delay, with -1 meaning never power on automatically, 0 meaning immediately, and 1 to 7200 a configurable delay. An admin staggers these delays across chained outlets so dependent equipment boots up in the correct sequence. For example, setting an outlet's power-on time to 120 seconds ensures the device it feeds doesn't try to boot until two minutes after a commanded power-on, giving upstream equipment time to come up first.
