What is ePDUIdentHardwareRev?
This read-only string reports the hardware revision of the Rack PDU, set at the factory and unchangeable afterward. Admins compare it across PDUs when checking which units are affected by a hardware-specific compatibility note or need a particular firmware build. Two PDUs showing different hardware revisions might require different upgrade firmware images even though they look identical.
