Description: Allow CPS traps with an octet string argument for providing detail information. Not being defined in the MIB, only reply a NULL string.
What is mtrapinfoString?
This read-only DisplayString exists as a placeholder that CPS traps can attach a free-text detail string to; the MIB notes it is not otherwise defined and a direct GET always returns a NULL string. It is only populated when included inside an actual trap message, not through direct polling. For example, a configuration-change trap might carry a descriptive string in this field, while a direct GET on the OID returns an empty string.
