Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::mconfigDHCPEnabled

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.2.1.3

Type: INTEGER

Description: The system will automatically obtain its IP from a DHCP server if yes, and none if no.

What is mconfigDHCPEnabled?

This read-write enumerated value determines whether the system automatically obtains its IP address from a DHCP server (yes) or uses a manually configured address (no). It lets an admin choose between dynamic and static IP addressing for the device's management interface. For example, an admin sets this to no(2) after assigning a fixed IP, ensuring the switch doesn't renegotiate its address on next boot.
