ePDULoadBankConfigNearOverloadThreshold
Module: CPS-MIB
OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::ePDULoadBankConfigNearOverloadThreshold
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.3.2.4.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: A threshold that indicates the power consumption of the load is nearing an overload condition. It is represented in Amps. A warning will be issued when the load is greater than or equal to the threshold value.
Minimum value must be greater than the value returned by the ePDULoadBankConfigLowLoadThreshold OID.
Maximum value must be less than or equal to the value returned by the ePDULoadBankConfigOverloadThreshold OID.
What is ePDULoadBankConfigNearOverloadThreshold?
This read-write integer sets the near-overload warning threshold, in amps, for a bank, issuing a warning once the bank's load reaches or exceeds it, bounded between the bank's low-load and overload thresholds. Admins use this as an early alert for a bank approaching its breaker's trip point so load can be redistributed in time. Setting this to 18 amps on a bank whose overload threshold is 20 amps gives a two-amp buffer to react before that bank actually overloads.
