Description: An 8-byte ID string identifying the Rack PDU firmware revision. This value is set at the factory.

What is ePDUIdentFirmwareRev?

This read-only 8-byte string identifies the firmware revision running on the Rack PDU, set at the factory and updated when firmware is flashed. An admin checks it before a firmware rollout to confirm which units still need updating and which are already current. Seeing an older firmware string on one PDU in a fleet flags it for the next maintenance window's upgrade.
