accepterActive

Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::accepterActive

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.2.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: A receiver will accept traps if yes, and none if no.

What is accepterActive?

This read-write enumerated value determines whether a specific trap receiver currently accepts traps (yes) or not (no). It is a simple on/off toggle an admin uses to enable or temporarily suspend a receiver without deleting its configured address. For example, an admin sets this to no(2) to silence a decommissioned NMS server's trap-receiver entry without removing the IP itself.
