Module: CPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPS-MIB::envirContactTableSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.4.4.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The number of the contact in the environment sensor.

What is envirContactTableSize?

This read-only integer reports how many dry-contact inputs the environmental sensor provides. Admins use it to know how many envirContact table rows to expect when polling for door-open, water-leak, or other binary sensor inputs wired into the device. A value of 4 tells the admin to expect four separate contact entries, such as a rack door sensor and a water-leak detector wired into the same environmental monitor.
